The food was spread over 30 minutes. The baked Camenbert was not ready and I said that to the waitress, who took the plate into the kitchen. However, the chef did not want to improve or give up the payment. He had this communicated to us through a little girl. He said the court was the way it always is. I was not even brought back my plate, where he kept the plate in the kitchen and obviously left under the salamander, only to hold it up to us then to demand payment. Result of the evening: now have house ban 🤣

Wanted to have a beer there with mate yesterday at 2 pm. Waited 15 minutes but despite multiple calls in the guestroom read no service. Even the one star that I had to forgive here is still too much. We experienced this as a rehab guests in and around Bad Staffelstein much better than with "Hennemann"

Defrosted dish. Had ordered veal cheeks from the DAY CARD. After about 30 minutes the dish was served, with the comment: Caution, the plate is hot. The plate was very hot, either from the oven or from the microwave. The cheeks were warmed up from the freezer, the sauce tasted like ready-made sauce. That was a rip-off in the Franconian way. In the village there is a place where you can eat much better .. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Food is Franconian and the restaurant is quaint. There is also home-brewed beer. Beer garden very nice in summer. Service is nice.

Excellent regional cuisine! We were there for dinner on a Sunday night; the guest room was packed. Although only two people served, there were no long waiting times. Neither with the drinks nor with the food. The portions are plentiful. The Schäufela, the Ötzi schnitzel and the veal cheeks are highly recommended. The latter should actually be eaten with horseradish sauce. Priced more than fine!
